SPLAT

A few months back the local power company. Started a study to see if the canal had enough flow and drop to support a white water park.
So the "scientist" in me got right to work to Test if the canal could handle such a park.

After walking the length of the canal I found a few spots that with out any work already had some potential





After a few hours a playboating (I wish I had a real playboat) I have come to the conclusion that canal shouldn't try and do a white water park but they should locate a few man made wave in different locations to create playboat spots. I would suggest two near the collage one near this spot under the tracks I believe there is enough fall in these locations. Then two near Yanney if the numbers in the study show that there is enough fall.



But if you dont belive me you can ask Eric. I think he would agree.


Canal Study #103

When starting a building (generally one paid for thought donation) to get people exited about the project there is a ground breaking. I havn' t done been able to get the ball rolling very quickly with this blog. So I decided that maybe a ground breaking would help.
I didn't expect blogging to be easy for me I'm not a person who expresses them self with written word, so in this aspect a blog is for me a way to grow. I would much rather do some thing, take a picture, and move on. With out words a picture can only teach you so many things with words... I don't know where this is going. Most likely it was going know where.
Really I can't decide if this blog should be a commentary, or a Personal journal. Well I think I'm going to pick both. Maybe that way I will have enough words on the page to look like a normal blog. There I think I got the ground broke, that was enough strain for one day.
